Delectable and distinctive taste of the Dominican Republic in central PA Casa De Fe Restaurant welcomes you with a brightly-colored facade adorned with enticing pictures of luscious food that surely lures you in to try for yourself ... and you won't be disappointed. Entrance is wheelchair accessible as well. Owners Juan and Yahaira come from the DR. So you know authentic cuisine awaits. Their heart and soul are poured into every dish. Their restaurant is about three months old. Everyone needs to know about this not-so-hidden gem in downtown Milton. From the first flavorful bite, your tastebuds are transported to the island where people take pride in their rich culinary heritage and love to share it with everyone. Here's a chance to travel to the DR without leaving home. Right inside is a big blackboard with the menu (and prices) written in Spanish and English with descriptions. Not sure what something means or is? Just ask as they would love to explain it to you. Order up front, take a seat, and then your food will be delivered to your table. Generous portions await. You pay up front afterward with cash or credit card. Call ahead for takeout if you don't have the time to eat in. Ambiance is welcoming and family friendly with island-themed decor that is simple and not overdone. There is booth-type seating and a table for six in the back. Two individual accessible bathrooms are available as well. Environment is very clean and tidy. My first visit was only three days ago and certainly won't be my last, especially when you can't stop thinking about their delicious food. I ordered a beef empanada along with platanos/fried green plantains and maduros/sweet green plantains. A bottle of mayoketchup is provided for plantains, empanadas, or whatever else you want to put this condiment on. My friends ordered the Pollo Guisado/Chicken Stew. Chicken fell off the bone, and it's juiciness was matched with it's full-bodied rich flavor. The accompanying arroz amarillo/yellow rice was brimming with vegetables and flavor. There is certainly enough to take home for a second meal if you can stop yourself from eating it all in one sitting. At first bite, we all looked at each other and said, "Wow!" Come and try a bit of the Dominican Republic right in our backyard, and you'll be coming back again and again.

Food was fantastic! My wife and I love finding new Latin restaurants, and this did not disappoint. Only reason I gave this a 4 on atmosphere is because there was no music to break up the awkward silence sometimes.

Food and staff are absolutely wonderful, we had the tostones (at the suggestion of staff) and they are the best! The restaurant has a great quiet atmosphere, will be back again!

The food was AMAZING! I’ve never had Dominican food, so I cannot compare to past experience, but the meals were delicious. We will definitely be coming back. One thing that would help those of us unfamiliar with Dominican cuisine would be to put an explanation of what the items are on the menu. But the staff was willing to explain. One person in our party was vegetarian, so there were no options for a main dish without meat. However, when she asked, she was able to order plantains, black beans and rice, and an egg for her meal. It may not sound like much, but the black beans and rice and the plantains are sooo good. I would say this is casual dining. You order your meal from the menu at the counter and then sit. The staff will bring your food out to you as well. Take out is available. We have someone in our party with a severe nut allergy and they assured us they don’t use nuts in their cooking.
